My first conference talk was at the European Conference on Artifical Life back in 2005. Beforehand I was super nervous. 16(!) years later I will give a keynote at this year’s international conference and I’m super excited.
I will use this talk to develop some ideas around the technosphere concept and that humantiy has co-created a planetary scale civilistaion that is beyond our control. So it will feature some of my longread Climate change: ‘We’ve created a civilisation hell bent on destroying itself. This is the focus of my second book which hopefully will be well on the way to being completed by July.
